ProcessLine AS-i ProcessLine modules have been specifically developed for use in wet areas. The housing is entirely made of stainless steel and has the protection rating IP69K to meet the hygienic requirements with regular cleaning cycles. The connection to AS-i is carried out by means of an M12 round connector, M12 sockets are used for the periphery. All status LEDs are integrated in one central light dome.
CompactLine AS-i M12 CompactLine modules are fully potted and therefore particularly suited for robust applications with increased shock and vibration requirements. All M12 sockets have metal threads. The modules can be addressed via an adapter or via the integrated infrared interface. M8 modules are particularly space-saving due to mounting from the front or from the side. The main areas of application are handling and conveying.
Universal modules The universal modules feature the universal AS-i EMS interface which can be identified by the FC lower part, which is identical to ClassicLine, illuminated pushbutton modules and AirBoxes. The modules are available with digital and analogue inputs and outputs.
ClassicLine The ifm ClassicLine family offers the greatest variety of input/output configurations. The product range stretches from the smallest module with 2 inputs and 2 outputs and extended address mode in a housing with 45 mm width to the 4-channel analogue modules in a housing with 90 mm width. The protection rating is always IP67. The EMS interface enables uncomplicated AS-i branching.
New ClassicLine The new ClassicLine modules for field applications are now easier to use with their novel assembly technology. This technology guarantees fast, toolless and at the same time very secure mounting.
Illuminated push-button modules AS-i illuminated pushbutton modules complement the range of field modules. Here, 2 light indicators and 2 pushbuttons are integrated in a particularly space-saving housing. This is by all means less expensive than the conventional version of the individually assembled control box. Different colour inserts and key-operated switches are available.
Module lower parts The EMS module lower parts are a necessary accessory for the product families ClassicLine, universal modules, illuminated pushbutton modules and AirBoxes. They are available with integrated branch for the main AS-i line and the AS-i spur or for AS-i (yellow) and external actuator supply (black). The suitable lower part is selected according to the electronic module (2 or 4 poles).
