ifm efector Receives Rating of 86.61% in Switches Category

ifm efector inc. received the highest rating (86.61%) in the category of “Switches" in Control Engineering’s 2005 Customer Satisfaction Survey. The rankings are based on overall satisfaction with product/manufacturer which is derived from responses to the questions:

• ease of installation and setup
• quality of documentation and factory calibration
• product availability and performance
• price and value for the dollar
• product upgrades and legacy system support
• vendor website resource usefulness
• understanding of customer needs
• the likeliness to purchase from that vendor again

More than 2,300 Control Engineering readers participated in their annual Customer Satisfaction Survey. Collectively, these readers purchase more than 4,300 products across 13 categories. The top five categories from which respondents purchased goods and services, based on the number of units purchased, are: switches (1,032), data aquisition hardware and software (682), servo motors (369), power element for motor contorl (358), and single and multi-loop controllers (338).
