ifm efector introduces the efector dualis object sensor for object recognition and evaluation in production control.
The efector dualis object sensor provides 100% inspection testing throughout the automation process. The object sensor combines reliable detection, low-cost and simple setup in a compact, durable housing.
• Objects in fast-moving processes are reliably detected and evaluated – regardless of orientation – with the sensor’s miniature CMOS-based image processor.
• High-performance software enables the sensor to find objects with extreme accuracy and speed. The sensor detects and compares defined shapes and provides up to five configurable outputs that include counting, sorting, logic functions and pass/fail.
• An LED display indicates active outputs.
• Compact sensor measures only 42 x 45 x 54 mm and incorporates an image sensor, evaluation electronics, and integrated infrared LED lighting in an industrial-compatible housing.
• The sensor’s lighting provides the correct amount of brightness at close range. For longer distances, an external lightsource of any color can be used.
• Setup is quick via an Ethernet interface and menu-guided PC parameter setting.
• ifm efector offers a variety of cable assemblies and mounting components for application setup.
• The 24 VDC sensor uses a standard industrial M12 cable assembly for electrical connection and an Ethernet cable for software connection.
