Tubular sensors with pushbutton setup The KN Series level sensor provides accurate level detection of liquids and solids in hoppers and tanks. Flush-mount models can be mounted into the hopper to sense dry materials directly. Non-flush models sense the level of solids or liquids through a tank wall or sight glass and can be used with a mounting well or sight glass clamp.
KN level switches feature a microprocessor-based “teach” function that calibrates the proper setpoint value and simplifies the setup process. Using a pushbutton, the sensor can be adjusted quickly and easily for a specified application. The microprocessor automatically balances the sensitivity to provide the safest operating condition.

Tubular sensors with potentiometer adjustment
The KI Series and KG Series level sensors feature a potentiometer that adjusts the sensitivity of the sensor. This feature allows the sensor to be precisely tuned for a specific application. These sensors are available in cabled, quick disconnect, and terminal chamber models to meet the many needs of various applications. |

Overflow sensors
The LI Series level sensor offers reliable limit level detection in tanks, indicating high or low level of fluids or solid materials. The LI also provides overflow protection in fluid sensing applications.
The sensor can be used as an independent overflow protection device or with other level sensors for added security against overflow. The sensor’s 16mm diameter probe is inserted directly into the fluid which is highly resistant to aggressive oils and lubricants. Setup and adjustment is easy using the sensor’s pushbutton “teach” function without removing the sensor from the process.

Low-profile level sensors
The KN sensor uses capacitive technology to sense through non-metallic sight glasses and tanks to indicate level. The low-profile sensor is only 10mm thick and has the same sensing range as a traditional 30mm tubular sensor. Using a mounting strap, the sensor is mounted to the side of a sight glass. Featuring microprocessor-based programming, the setpoint can be quickly and easily adjusted for a given application.

High temperature capacitive sensor
The KN high temperature sensor is suited for high temperature applications up to 250°C (482°F). The sensor is capable of sensing a wide range of solids and liquids in environments of residual moisture and high temperatures. The amplifier is mounted outside the high temperature area. The special mechanical configuration ensures that the sensor is immune to electrostatic discharges.
