Series IF, IJ and IS switches can be mounted in the valve top for non-contact sensing of the stem. A highly-visible output LED indicates the position of the valve. Valve position sensors are networked via the AS-i bus system. AS-i provides power and allows data exchange over a single two-wire cable, replacing costly parallel wiring. This method of wiring reduces wiring costs and is easy to upgrade.
